The last of my Christmas leftovers.. I'm actually not quite sure how this slipped through the net but I thought (late as it is) I'd post it anyway. The most bizarre thing about this outfit has to be the tights, bare legs in the middle of winter are not an easy look to pull off but I have to say I think they'd be better than these odd coloured 'nude' tights. I think it's the bright lighting that pulls this strange shade from them but still.. perhaps I'll be avoiding the 1940s stocking look in future. Anyway.. the skirt was the beginning of this outfit, it's a super girl yet comfy dotted mesh from La Redoute* which I believe is available in other colours too. I wore it with this old polka dot jumper (first worn here) from H&M and the Steve Madden Ravesh bow pumps I am still yet to wear out of the house. They are insanely uncomfortable but they're VERY cute looking, no? The bag is Rebecca Minkoff, a gorgeous rose gold metallic that really dresses up an outfit but still manages to feel casual. I'm not really one for clutches but this can be worn in a number of ways including without straps. This was an outfit I put together for my festive lookbook so I didn't actually wear it out but I would, possibly with a change of shoes and certainly without the stockings..
Okay, I promise that's it for Christmas now.. for another 10 months at least
